DENTON, Texas — The Hermleigh varsity cheerleaders recently returned from a successful cheer camp held at Texas Woman’s University.

This season’s squad will have plenty of youth with no seniors for cheer coach Alicia Anderson. The squad will consist of two juniors, two sophomores, two freshmen and a junior mascot as well.

The cheerleaders, who play a large role in leading school spirit, will be busy in the next few weeks making signs and planning pep rallies. Those efforts certainly don’t go unnoticed by those at school and in the community.
